Adler Microsystems Corp., formerly dba RMS-TOUCH, was incorporated in 1986 in New Jersey by Richard and Jane Adler. In 2008, following Richard's death, RMS-Touch. LLC, a Maryland corporation formed by long-time RMS-Touch dealers, acquired the RMS-Touch point of sale software, which it currently maintains, distributes and supports. It maintains a nationwide dealer network, with major accounts served through the corporate office.
RMS-TOUCH was a pioneer in Restaurant Point Of Sale systems (POS), introducing in 1987 the first non proprietary, PC based restaurant touch screen Point Of Sale system running on a Novell Network. Since then, thousands of systems have been installed worldwide, on multiple PC based platforms, with many diverse hardware and software interfaces.
Current applications include RMS-TOUCH POS 32 Hospitality Point Of Sale software for bars and restaurants, and RMS-Host Restaurant Waiting List with customer cell phone notification
With optional POS interfaces, ready for rapid deployment of quick service applications, the RMS-Kiosk Application Suite is quickly becoming a leading customer pre-ordering solution for supermarkets.
